They just keep getting bigger. Last Thursday we were, the children and I, in a car accident that brought the end to the van. Aside from plenty of soreness and several stitches, though we are fine.
I am amazed again at the way God has protected and provided for us during all this time. I feel like He allowed all these things to happen, but so limited the consequences such that we remain intact, whole people. Each accident--Simon's fall, the falling picture frame, and now the car accident--could have ended with so much more brokenness, yet in each instance I find myself counting the ways God put boundaries on the damage, ways that He protected us in the midst.
Oh Sarah, I am so sorry that you and your family have gone through so much recently. but you are right, the Lord has been with you through each event and has made his presence and love for you known. I am so very glad that you have seen Him!
