I was going to say something profound today, but am worried about getting everything done before we move.
This time next week our stuff will be loaded onto a truck heading for Pennsylvania and we will follow Friday afternoon.
There is a dumpster sitting in our driveway that I am worried will not be big enough. The thrift store people are coming Saturday to pick up a bed, a desk, and shelves. We have stuff to go to the Restore (a construction thrift store) and stuff to return to Lowes.
I have lists of people to call and lists of things to do. I have a list of things we are taking in our cars and a list of things I require new when we move (dish strainer, mop, broom).
We have a stack of paper to sign for the relocation house sale, though our house hasn't sold. And we have food to eat. I know most people have food to eat, but we have a deadline for eating said food--next Tuesday.
Why am I blogging, again? Perhaps I don't want to think about the countdown right now. Off to yoga.
I'll be praying for you this week as you and Chris get things crossed off your list. Also praying for a smooth move and transition.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to blog when you get settled! :)
There's no other way around it, moving is stressful. Moving to a new city compounds the stress.
ReplyDeleteSo be sure to relax and have fun with Abigail in the middle of the chaos!!
