Why is George by the garbage?

George seems to have figured out how to open the gate. I don't know how. But somehow he has visited our trash on Sunday morning,
sniffed at the kiddie pool covering the auto parts in front of the garage,
and tried to chase the birds from the feeder while trying to play ball.

I think I may need to make a sign.

Notice:
the big black dog
belongs
to the little gray house.

just in case our neighbors haven't seen the little girl walking with the big black dog.
