I Forget

I've been so overwhelmed with MOPS because I forgot. I forgot that it is about women and their families, and giving the touch of Christ to one another.

I've been so overwhelmed with school because I forgot. I forgot that it is about a little girl discovering the wonders of Him--in word and number and creation.

I've been so overwhelmed with house and food because I forgot. I forgot that it is about this family living in love and peace and those invited in--welcomed and enjoyed and sustained on His bounty and His love poured out.

I've been so overwhelmed that I've forgotten that the the habits and disciplines of Him are about Him--knowing Him, loving Him, joining with Him in the work of redemption.

I have been invited

by the God of Creation

to join Him 

in the work

of redemption.

And I complain that my plate is too full

because I forget

that the work I've been given 

is an invitation 

to join

HIM.
